Simon.EXE – Team Preview

Finals Seed: 11th

Round 1 Placing: 11th

Round 2 Placing: 11th

Simon.EXE enters the 3×3.EXE Super Premier Final as a battle-tested squad that has shown glimpses of promise but has struggled to turn their physical presence into wins. Despite their winless record, they’ve been one of the most dominant rebounding teams in the tournament, averaging 15.3 rebounds per game (tied for 2nd overall). Their signature Twin Towers duo—Cheick Keita and Mike Harry—has consistently controlled the glass, creating second-chance opportunities and disrupting opposing offenses.

Round 1 saw Simon.EXE pushed to their limits in Pool C’s brutal matchups, falling to Brisbane City Blue.EXE (15-9) in a defensive battle before losing to Alphas.EXE (19-13), where Devin Gilligan’s clutch play proved to be the difference. Round 2 followed a similar script, with Brisbane once again overpowering Simon in the paint, before a hard-fought battle against Beefman.EXE ended in heartbreak after Takaaki Shimizu buried back-to-back deep twos in the final minute.

Now, Simon.EXE gets an immediate shot at redemption, opening their Finals campaign against Hachinohe Dime.EXE—a team with similar struggles but the advantage of playing on home soil. With their dominant rebounding and physical presence in the paint, they have the tools to dictate the tempo—but can they finally break through and turn their strengths into victories?Keys to Victory:

Control the glass: Continue leveraging their rebounding dominance to limit second-chance opportunities for opponents.
Capitalize on size mismatches: Use their physicality to create easier scoring opportunities inside.
Shooter space: Enable Yakiv Titov (key shooter) to get into rhythm, either by coming off screens or finding him when the defence collapses.

Game 1: vs. Hachinohe Dime.EXE (6th vs. 11th)
